Practical Messages. Friendly Folks. Safe Worship.

Traditional Service - 10:30 a.m. Sundays

Join us at United Methodist Temple for practical messages, friendly folks, and safe worship.  We invite you to experience God's unforced rhythms of grace at our traditional Sunday worship service at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday.  In order to ensure the safety of everyone, we are taking temperatures at the door, requiring masks, and refraining from congregational singing at this time.  But, rest assured - you'll still be greeted by friendly faces, experience stirring traditional music and receive communion in a safe and modified way the first Sunday of every month.

All are welcome here - from the youngest to the oldest.  We do not currently have nursery care, but children are welcomed and encouraged to attend our worship services.  We enjoy the "giggles and wiggles" from children during the service, but also have a nursery room available if you need it.

God has truly blessed us within the past year.  We have welcomed back Music Director, organist and choir director, Mr. Jim Jordan, who received his training at Florida Southern College of Lakeland, Florida in Sacred Music.  You will be truly inspired and transported as the Spirit moves through our chancel choir and Jim's musical offerings.

In the spirit of John Wesley the founder of Methodism, we embrace the idea of teaching others how to think critically about their faith.  We continue to grow into the image of Christ through worship, gathering in small groups, critically studying Scripture, prayer, meditation and service.  As United Methodists we are called to activate our faith by serving God and others in the name of Christ.  At United Methodist Temple, we know we are not perfect; we are loved by God and forgiven in Christ.  With the Spirit's help we believe that we can become better than we were yesterday by the extravagant grace of God. We look forward to meeting you and journeying with you.
